U.S. Water Partnership

What It Is: The Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) is the State Department’s foreign-facing public diplomacy communications bureau. It provides and supports the places, content, and infrastructure needed for sustained conversations with foreign audiences to build America’s reputation abroad. IIP approached IMG to produce a video highlighting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s support of the U.S. Water Partnership, an organization working to address global water challenges. The task was to present the material in a creative and interesting way while depicting the true gravitas of the situation. What We Did: IIP provided an audio cut of the Secretary’s speech regarding the U.S. commitment to the global water issue, along with some b-roll and stock imagery. IMG’s Creative editorial team reviewed all material and created a unique look and feel for the piece, using stylized elements, graphic overlays, split screens, color correction, smooth editing techniques and sound design.
