An artists’ conundrum. Visually tell a story explaining a relatively dry issue- taxes. Endemic concern for ‘explainer’ videos. We leaned into core tenets: entertain, inform, easy to digest. For Credit Union National Association’s project, we applied a visual analogy: a house, car, dog, made of money. By visually representing people’s currency as something tangible we had character for the viewer to focus & follow throughout the story, attach to, absorbing the knowledge we set out to explain.
