Our next stop in IMG’s Museum Week is the National Museum of the United States Army. Located in in Fort Belvoir Virginia, this newly opened museum celebrates over 245 years of history of the regular Army, the Army Reserve, and the Army National Guard. To ensure all of the experiences and stories create a personal connection with the visitor, everything is told through the eyes of the soldier. From multi-table touch screen interactives to a videowall as long as a football field, visitors can immerse themselves in never-before heard stories, “share” artifacts they discover, and deep dive on specialized weaponry and technology. It was an honor to work with the museum team of historians, curators, and architects, and members of the military.
